Katrina: No idea. It was 4-1/2 weeks before I got to my parent's house. I can't remember if the power was off or on. Things were pretty fricked up.
In Pass Christian, we got temporary service to a pole in the yard after about 2-1/2 or 3 months.
Gustav: About 5 days in Metairie.
Isaac: About 3-1/2 days in Madisonville, but the water was still up. Pike Energy replaced a piece of ground level equipment (transformer?) and had us energized within about 4 or 5 hours after the water finally went out. Those guys got on it! (Of course, we might have been the last sorry bastards in town who were still in the dark, too.)

In Prairieville I wanna say it was almost a week for Katrina, a week for Gustav, and about 4-5 days for Rita. It was crazy because the neighborhood right next to ours never lost power but we did

Gustav - 5 days in BR

Never got power back after Katrina. Few years later in Houston I went a week without power after Ike.

Katrina was about 10 days in Hattiesburg, Rita was about a week in swla.
My girlfriend at the time didn't have power for 2 months after Katrina in Gulfport. Her and her family were living like survivorman. Nice thing was she lost about 10 pounds.
We lost power for 5 days after Gustav in br, also we forgot to clean out our freezer before we left, shrimp after a week in the heat are basically like a rotting dead body.

My apartment just outside the north gates of LSU was out for about 8 hours during Katrina and we maybe lost power for an hour or so during Rita.
My apartment never lost power during Gustav, but my grandpa's house in town was out for 2-3 days.

Katrina: about a month until I had a temporary power pole installed, received the first FEMA trailer in East Biloxi a couple of weeks later. The guys from Georgia Power who convoyed down to the Coast did us a huge solid the first week after, letting us charge cell phones and drill batteries off their service truck generators every night.
