How long were you without power after Katrina, Rita or Gustav?

The news cycle for Irma is now focused on the number of people without power in Florida. It's been 3/4 days since the storm hit. Just out of curiosity, how long did you go without power after the last major LA hurricanes?
Me - Katrina= 2 weeks. Gustav = 1 week

I didn't lose it for Katrina or Rita. 8 days for Gustav. I lived in Southdowns then, and it was a mess from the huge trees.

Katrina, 12 hours. Gustav, 6 days.
Fired generator up around day three. Was working 20 hour days. Cold showers and passed out in the shower

Over a week, maybe 8-9 days for all three although Rita may have been slightly fewer days.

3 weeks for Ike but had a generator which was awesome.
Gas was really hard to come by though so we had to drive 30 mins out of town to fill our gas cans up.

I live between two hospitals so it was only out for a few hours for Andrew, one day for Katrina, a couple days for Gustav if I remember right, and 3 days for Rita since a power line was down on my street and didn't affect the hospitals.
