Maybe the "no more sex" was a cry for help.

If she didn't talk to him about the insufficient needs elsewhere (not assuming she did) then the "no more sex" is a sign to get out. There's obvious communication problems.

There is a huge difference between a dry spell and

quote:

they say they don't feel like being physically intimate anymore.

Also, too many other factors that will vary for each person. Are they married? Have kids? Has either one of them been dealing with some serious issues(death of loved one, illness, etc)?

But if you are only dating someone and they already say they don't feel like having sex anymore....and they don't have a legitimate reason for saying that....that doesn't sound like a relationship you want to continue into a marriage.

I believe the current going excuse is stress due to vet school.

I also believe if that's the excuse that's being rolled with for much longer there will be someone with a lot more free time to dedicate to vet school.

GTFO of that relationship. College is when you're young and bangin the most. I wouldn't give it another thought and end it.

Let's say you have been with the person for a significant amount of time, and they say they don't feel like being physically intimate anymore.

I'm pretty sure this is a troll thread, because the answer is pretty damn obvious.

Do something nice for her. Make her life easier for a few days if you aren't getting anything after that then it's a problem.

This thread reminds me of this article LINK

quote:

My husband and I had a great sex life when we were dating, it was fun, new, and exciting. It made me feel desired and loved the way he always wanted me. Looking back, I know that that was what I enjoyed about our sex life, not the sex itself. The few times I did initiate sex, it was because I knew he would like that. Our sex life was about attracting him and making him happy, not a reflection of something I truly wanted.

I thought this was how all women feel. It might be, but I can only speak for myself. I thought, I guess, as harsh as it seems to say this out loud, that sex was one of many things women do to find a great guy that is completely unrealistic to keep up with for the rest of your life: dressing up every single time you see him, not bothering him with your problems, always trying to seem fun and sexy and attractive, and — always being up for sex.

The truth is, sex isn’t that interesting to me. For the first few years of marriage I managed to keep it up to once a week or once every two weeks but then we had our first child and all the energy I had to put into making my husband happy was now being spent on her. I have no idea how other women do this. I worked part time as a receptionist at a clinic to help with our bills but allow me to spend most of my time with the baby and I managed to make dinner almost every night and keep our house clean and our bills paid. There simply wasn’t any more time or energy to do anything. So our sex life dropped to basically zero until we started trying for another kid. We both wanted more than one and even though our sex life wasn’t in a great place, we still love each other. Sex isn’t everything

My wife gave my some silly sob story and claimed that she couldn't have sex for like three months due to her medical condition. I said that I don't care to hear her excuses she can let the new baby cry in the nursery but to get her sore arse in the bedroom.

Sounds like you need to sit her down and say

"Look, I love you very much and am proud of you going to vet school. I understand it is very stressful at times and realize it can make you exhausted. However, sex is a very important part of a relationship and us not having sex on a more regular basis is going to cause this relationship to fail. I want us to work. I'm not asking to have sex every single day of the week, but I need more sex in this relationship."

I don't have a problem with this as long as she turns a blind eye and his side-bitch is sane and cool with the situation.

But it is extremely dishonest to marry somehow and give him a false impression of their love life.

She really does. Bet she has plenty of time to look on Pinterest or post pics of her kids on fb though.

That right there should be the sign to the husband to leave her miserable arse. You have to put your spouse first if you want the marriage to be successful and last.

Women are very different than men when it comes to sex. We can have tons of stress or a terrible day and still be like hell yeh I want some. If they have too many things going through their minds the chances of them having one decrease so the wanting to be physically intimate also decreases

I have strong Christian beliefs about marriage and the like, but i would be out without with the quickness. Of course I'm pretty good at vetting people, so I probably wouldn't have married a selfish girl like that to begin with.

Everybody has high levels of stress at one point or another. That doesn't mean she can't lay there and let you do your thing, and that doesn't mean it should stop all together. Something is wrong there
