Yep and you could show her where in the Bible it basically says husband and wives are NOT to withhold sex from one another.

4 pages and nobody has asked for a pic of the chic that cut him off. What's wrong with this place?

I'm not asking to have sex every single day of the week, but I need more sex in this relationship."

Sounds like you been there; just change out Vet School with Nursing School and the OT learns a just a little more about ya.

they say they don't feel like being physically intimate anymore.

I would get a divorce the next day. ANYMORE. <== think about that.
In my state you can get an annulment in the first 4 years if something heavy comes up like the person becomes a drug addict or can't get it up. I think that not wanting to be physically intimate ANY MORE would be sufficient for a judge to give me an annulment, same as if the person joined a f-ing convent.

We have been trying since last April though. Anyone else that has had to try for a long period of time to get pregnant can relate to this....it isn't as fun as everyone says.

I get so tired of people saying "oh this is the fun part for you guys, just have lots of sex."

I wish I had this problem. Consider yourself blessed.

You would be wrong. I was in my early 20s when I was in nursing school. With a bf also in his early 20s. Sex was the least of our relationship problems.

You'll get it nurse. My parents tried for 5 years before they had me.

I'll be 38 next month. I don't have 5 years. If I'm not pregnant by my 39th bday...that's it for me. With what I know about the risk for down's in women 40 and over and with family history, I just can't risk it in good conscience. Time to adopt or just learn to enjoy life without children at that point.

Didn't you say you were ok either way if you got pregnant or not? Or ok adopting?

seems like that would take away from some of the pressure

I know that I could be content either way. That if it didn't happen, I could live a meaningful life and not be one of those women that is just miserable cause she didn't have kids.

I mean it does a little bit. However, I do want to be a mother and the monthly roller coaster of trying, waiting to see if you are pregnant, knowing you are not....it begins to sting more and more. The first month or so, no biggie. As each month goes by...it hurts more. At times I just wish I knew one way or the other. Am I having kids or not? Then I could accept that path and live my life. Feels like my life is in limbo right now...cause I don't know what path I'm going towards.

I suggest trying a relaxing vacation which it timed around your cycle. Worked like a charm for the Wife and I.

Best of luck. From what I've read of your posts, you'll be a great mom.

That whole ball of fun happens next month

We'll see what the fertility doc says though.

Man that will suck for my husband. How uncomfortable must that be for a guy to be handed a cup from the doctor or nurse, pointed towards a room with old playboys and porn, and be told "good luck"?

best advice i can give. it will eventually wear down the relationship. I recently had an engagement end simply because she felt we had lost that "spark" losing that spark was in large part because she had a low sex drive and it caused us to separate. It got to the point where we were having it only 2 times a month at most.
