I had my son at 31, he surprised us and had one at 19, so I have a head start on making memories with my grandchildren.

If it wasnt for me having 2 kids I would have ended it years ago. Wake up everyday thinking it would be better if I died today.

Are you just seeking attention in a thread, or is there something really going on with you? If you have 2 kids, that should be more than enough reason to live.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I’ve been there. I did what I needed to and got professional help. Please do your family a favor and do the same. It can be overcome.

I'm 49... and the last 6 years, life have gotten progressively harder. Health is great, in better shape than most people I'm around. But, emotionally just fricking life.... idk... Don't think I will make it to retirement.

Not seeking attention. Life has just been one tragic event after another for me

Fair enough. As HighC said, seek some help if you need to. Everyone has tragic events in their lives, if you need help dealing with it, by all means get it. Everyone needs a little help from time to time.

I'd be fine with it being over now. Wouldn't change anyone's life one way or another.

Anyone that says they don’t want to live to be 90 has never been 89 before.

I've watched a lot of people die on the internet and I mean a lot of people. Burning, drowning, hanging, electrocution, squashing, falling, being shot, stabbing. I can say that either way it doesn't last very long. So I'm ready.

Forever, and I want the same for my kids. I'm sad that this is impossible.

My dad died last month, at 71. He'd had bypass surgery, but he had a series of strokes. He said before any of that happened that he'd rather die than live like that: unable to talk, feed himself, wipe his own arse, stand up, etc.

I agree and it was merciful that he passed before being a vegetable in the nursing home and running up a million dollars in hospital bills and shite.

Elessar made it to 210, so that’s good enough for me
