Good bump. I'll bite. So we actually 'went out' 4 times in the month of August. These were all in group settings with friends that wanted to push us together. I honestly thought I had her after the 2nd 'date' (Came so close to bumping this then. Thank God I didn't). So after the 4th hang out we had a good talk and I pressed to go out, but ultimately she let me down gently and confessed she still had feelings for the previous guy. We had a great conversation and we're tight now, she has even thrown a couple of her single friends my way, nothing noteworthy though.
She has now gotten back together with the old guy. I hope it works out for her. I've moved on. I put some effort into it, which is more than most of this board would have done.
