Drove by 3 places before finally getting in line for the 4th
1 hour and 10 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. Is there an end to all this?!

Fort Lauderdale here. Left work and hit up my usual spot. All out.
Went down the road to the 7/11, saw a fuel truck, first to pull in and wait at the pump.
15 minutes or so.

Pulled right up. 6 of 8 pumps were vacant. Had all 3 grades available. Paid 2.56/gallon.

I didn’t have to wait but 1/4 of the pumps were closed and a good majority of the people I saw were filling up several cans

I’m old and can tell you this is a taste of what happened twice in the 70’s. It went on for a while. The Arab embargo. Gas lines, limits, higher prices. Love the old times.

I’m in Texas which should be unaffected by this. 2 places had premium gas only. Others had a long line. Bit the bullet and paid $40 to fill up the company Ford Focus. I’m sure there will be questions about that expense.
One gas station was shut down for 4 hours because they didn’t have enough staff to stay open.
