How is the Mall of Louisiana?

Will be in BR today with the family and need to find somewhere to go for a few hours to eat up sone time.

I liked it for years, now I never go to malls, the last time my wife went to MOL, she got her purse snatched. She was near the interior mall entrance to Dillards, the kid was maybe 12 he disappeared out by Sears. She did get her purse back, found in the parking lot, minus wallet with all her cards and cash.
I get credit for saving her phone, I had just called her, so it was in her hand, usually in her purse.
Anything they sell in the MOL, I can get someplace else.

Haven’t been there in probably 15 years. Turns out like all malls do. You know, your money won’t jingle jingle, it gets stole.

It’s probably 10 years since I’ve been in a mall. I used to stop at the Johnston Murphy store till they closed it. So I wait until I go to Destin area and stop at their outlet store.
Sometimes I stop at their stores in airports.
Basically if I by dress shirts it’s at a local store, same as dress pants.

It’s not as bad as they make it on here but I also couldn’t see hanging out there for a few hours. Go to the outlet mall in Gonzales if you have hours to kill.

If you like sneakers, clothes for clubbing, janky jewelry, or fixing your phone screen, you’re in luck. It’s amazing how many urban shoe stores & shitty “Mr. Gold” type jewelry stores are there now.
