Economy tanking usually leads to bringing out the worst in people. Hate will be at an all time high. Time for a revolution.

Then, maybe donate and try to help people you aren’t. You can’t use your money when you’re dead.

We already have a staffing problem. If people can't even afford to drive to work, what's their option?

I'm job searching now. The two biggest, most promising opportunities in this area are each on the opposite end of the next county over from mine. I'd be either be driving an hour west or an hour fifteen minutes east.

My wife works from home, and has a great job. I'm considering changing my career and starting an entry level job at her company.

My company has given the signal that we will be returning within 30 days, but we don't have an official date yet. There was a ton of feedback that hopefully they are weighing to make this decision. They've tried 3 times before to set a date, but it never worked out.

They let several people move to work remotely. We've worked remotely for 2+ years now. It really makes very little sense to just force it, and doing it when gas is so expensive? Yikes. They have to know that people will test the market, especially lower wage folks like graphic designers that can literally work from any location on the planet.

The massive hiring going on is a lie there are openings but they are not being filled.

Joe is asshoe, but I wonder how many people living hand to mouth voted for him?

The sad reality is that a good bit of his voters are so brainwashed that they honestly think the Dems had nothing to do with inflation and it’s Putin’s fault.

We are selling my husband's car on Friday. Car Max is giving us 3k over payoff. We are nabbing it and running for the hills. He works 3 blocks from our home, and our kids are grown, so we don't need a Mom-mobile and Dad-mobile. It will save us roughly $600.00 a month when you factor in upkeep, tires, insurance, and car payment.

I think that an extra $600.00 is going to be very necessary very soon.

I was wondering about the lawn service companies. That post confirmed my theories. I know 2 people who are in the business. I feel sorry for them.

My wife has a former coworker who just started his own last fall. Young guy, wants to do well for himself. I feel bad for him.

Biden and the democrats truly do want to destroy the middle class. They need to be treated like the enemies of the American people that they are.

Sadly, when asked what needs to be done, many people respond with: “print more stimulus money.”

That’s going to be the go-to solution from now on. Trump never should’ve agreed to that second one.

I have a cleaning service. I've had three cancellations ( for good) in a week. One lost his job due to cutbacks, and the other two told me it was the cost of living increases that caused them to cancel. I did not raise my rates because I was afraid I'd lose homes.

Three homes were 850.00 a month in lost revenue. If anyone else cancels, I am done. I am currently looking for a remote job just to be safe.

The quality/ dependable $10/ hour worker is not there. There are very few of them worth a damn. Most just show up and do less then the minimum to get a paycheck because they know they can't be fired because of the staff shortages. And if they are, they get back on unemployment. It is a huge issue.

And many, MANY of those will still vote democrat again in 2022 and 2024. They’re stupid and I don’t feel sorry for them whatsoever. In fact, those are the ones who deserve what’s happening right now.

Maybe so. But the modern MSM is so good at deceiving and manipulating the average person. They are the mouthpiece of the Evil force leading us to calamity.
So maybe we should feel some compassion for these people.

Doing fine still means doing worse. It means you were doing great 1 year ago. I hope everyone realizes that come election time.

Employers are seeing higher costs too and what better way to cut costs than by forcing employees back to the office when many can find work elsewhere? Everything is intentional and by design.

This decade will be characterized by families sitting around the table deciding what things they had in the past that they can get rid of: cable, second car, going out to eat, eating meat once a week, Turing the thermostat up to 78, having fewer children, etc…..

Sad days ahead.

I have no doubt lawn service companies are hurting.. but that tweet was kind of dumb.

Going from charging $35-$40 up to $65 and only losing 25% of customers? That’s less work for more money..

Again I am sure they are hurting and the guy just had the numbers wrong..

You could start by remote monitoring your employees to weed out the unproductive ones and getting rid of your expensive office building.
