Why do educated and wealthy people from all over the the world come to visit a third world shite hole dump?
The guys from La Place and Port Allen know what it's all about, so I can't figure out what these world travelers are missing.

I haven’t been able to leave because every time I try it floods. Then when I want to come back and get my stuff there is either a boil advisory and can’t use the water, or the catch basins lurch onto the street and hit my car. But no matter, the S&WB will ask me to clean my basin and demand more taxes from me, while performing none of the promises work.

While there, within a block of where we were living seven murders. And none of 'em "needed killing" unless you count the young man who was murdered by his wife's father, the second husband of his daughter that he killed but the first one was in Honduras.

You have a city with the same problems, and yet without anything interesting or cool to show for it.
BR finished at #7 and NOLA #4 per capita in murders last year. Those are cold hard facts, and everyone thinks they can outrun it, but they can’t. They just stave it off for their kids, and there’s just not enough real estate to run from it in a state surrounded by water. Eventually you run out of land.

I haven’t been there for ANY reason since. I live within an hours drive as well so it isn’t a matter of inconvenience.

All of my peers who have been stationed in New Orleans in the past few years say it's absolutely terrible. Keep in mind they are an outside perspective since most of them are not originally from there. They talk about crime, homelessness, the smell of the city, the cleanliness of the city, racism, SJWs, the constant risk of flooding, and traffic for the most part. I personally like New Orleans, but your silent argument and attempt to stir up shite is silly. Anyone can see the city of New Orleans has a long way to go.
