Well, they did a study and discovered it was more practical than the “bend over and kiss your arse goodbye” drill.

They did a study and found that all of the asbestos and lead that the kids were ingesting coated their internal organs and gave them some radiation resistance.

We also were taught and believed that if north Vietnam took over south Vietnam that communism would spread worldwide, and saw film clips that showed communism spreading.

Nah. There's a radius of partial structural damage thats survivable. You'll probably have burns, but can survive the blast if you're not too close.
