WAT?

That's the point. Face what you have done wrong, atone, and promise to not do it again.

What did you make her do to you that you're so embarrassed about the priest finding out?

i mean, do people really let all the cats out of the bags during reconciliation or can we just lump it under other stuff that i can't recall? i remember i made a list when i was young and priest told me to speak from the heart but afterwards i looked at the list and left out most of the stuff i remembered. waste of a trip.

I've never heard of this before.

But I also don't believe in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, so there's that.

Catholics are weird

Her sake or yours? You afraid of something she might say?

what's the point in facing it if you face zero reprecussions? and not do it again, oh it's always done again.

Auditing

Scientology apparently stole this idea from Catholics & they call it "auditing". Usually used for blackmail later by them

Shouldn't you reconcile with God through prayer and not a priest? I've also never understood praying to Mary. I thought Jesus was the way to God. To each their own I guess.

Tell your daughter she is and will always be the sum total of all her actions. There's no forgiveness and you are ultimately the exact person you've always been. If she's upset with some action she's made in the past effect that by being who you want to be...but never forgive or forget what you are capable of.
