How hard is it to find non-Ethanol gas in your area?

It’s no problem in my area but when I go to DFW it’s next to impossible to find gas stations with pure gas. Newer cars may do better with ethanol in their gas but my 2013 Infiniti requires premium and I get far worse mileage with the ethanol variety.

There’s a place nearby who has 2 pumps: 89 octane and 100 octane. You can dial in whatever octane you want.

Do you have easy access to pure gasoline? Or does it even matter to you?

I have easy access to non-ethanol. It's all I run in my yard equipment and outboard engines. I usually keep 25 gallons on hand most of the time. Using corn for fuel is stupid.

I have a gas station about a mile and a half away that sells non-ethanol. I buy it from there for my lawnmower, generator and whatnot.

Not hard at all, have several stations that sell it. You can download the Pure Fuel app to help.

this is a thorn in my side every single hurricane season. it's not super fun. and it kinda irks me considering i live in Texas. I basically have to drive 30-40 minutes to a Buc-ees. none of the local gas stations have it. I've tried the apps. I've tried calling. It does not exist in my area.

seems like back home in BR it's every other gas station.

Subtle "I have a gas-powered whatnot" brag noted.

I use an APP on my iPhone which shows all the gas stations near me which sell ethanol-free gas. The APP is called "Pure Gas."

Search areas near fishing spots and boat launches. Usually will have it available in those areas.

Pretty sure it's against the law to sell non-ethonal fuel in the Houston city limits. You know, so they can save the planet and stuff.

I can buy it readily.

If I’m running generators long term after a hurricane I burn ethanol. Refill with non ethanol after the storm, run then store. My main generator is 26 years old. I have 5 other generators.

I have 4 boats. I burn ethanol in whichever is being used the most. It gets burned quickly.

Never put additives. I’ve burn non ethanol gasoline that I had cached in the marsh that was 5-7 years old. 100 octane.

Easy. Lots of boats in my area so there are plenty of stations that sell regular gas without ethanol.

I could even get plus or premium without ethanol.

My cars run better on 0% ethanol. I could easily get 23-24mpg in the 4Runner with a tank full of that stuff. Barely 21 on the E-10.

I've got several nearby...but it would be nice if apps like Gas Buddy would offer a filter to ID Ethanol-Free gas for when you are traveling.
