Most commercial websites have the ability to meet demand in real time. Think about Black Friday. Online retailers require 10X the processing and Data speeds starting mid-November through the first week in Dec. it’s all throttled back the other 49 weeks of the year.

Yes but that is not an ISP like EPB, it’s a federal facility that doesn’t offer internet for recreational resident use.

Ok boomer. You didn’t answer my questions and you clearly don’t know shite about ISPs and network backbone traffic. Sorry to tell you but backbone network speeds are pushing and exceeding Tbps, yeah that’s a T. Claiming that a “server” can’t “deliver” you those “files” fast enough is absurd bullshite. Please just stop saying shite you don’t understand like it’s fact.

I just opened up my wife’s 12 year-old Samsung gaming laptop, cleaned out the Nvidia card, processor, etc, re-pasted the heatsink connections, and replaced her old HD with a new SSD, and absolutely zero need to upgrade it.
Purrs like a kitten!
Edit: all she uses it for it to pay bills and play SIMS, etc.

I’m all for links that show the speeds they offer or even that they offer it. I also have in laws that still work there and my father in law retired from there just recently.

My laptop I use for business stuff (mostly accounting, spreadsheets, etc.) might actually be that old but I can't quit laughing that you posted your damn internet speed as some sort of evidence
