Sooooo you'd go to a steak restaurant and cook the meal for yourself?

I got invited to go to a place that actually does this when I was living in San Diego. I passed. Sounded like the dumbest thing ever.

And to the OP, I would have done the same thing and used the service I already paid for.

A coworker of mine runs to his car this afternoon to grab lunch and notices he has a flat tire. Realizing he still has a couple of months remaining of the roadside assistance plan that came with purchase of the vehicle, he heads back into our office and calls a towing company to drive out to our parking lot to exchange out the flat tire with his spare. He is 27 years old and more than physically capable of changing out a tire. He said he didn't want to get sweaty. Kinda a prick move if you ask me, even when you consider the towing company is getting paid for the work order.

That service is part of what he paid for when he bought the automobile. He would be a dumbass of the highest magnitude to go out and change it himself in this scenario.

The other day I went to a restaurant. I order a burger. I had someone else cook it for me, and another person bring it to me. I am 30 and perfectly capable of cooking my own food.

Was I a dick?

I have AAA for this reason, sure I can change a tire on my own, but why do it myself if I can get someone to come do it for free. Changing a tire sucks, I don't blame the guy at all

I've done something similar. Felt weird having someone come do it for me, but I didn't sweat my balls off so I guess it was worth it.

If you like changing tires so much why didn't you go change it yourself? Prove how much of a big baw you are.

I feel worse about your improper verb conjugation.

Dude use a perk offered by his vehicle seller. I have no problems with it at all.

Why wouldn't you utilize the service you paid for?

There is a lot of shite I "could" do, but if I have already paid to have it handled, I am going that route.

Why do you hate people who fix tires, tow vehicles, and start broken down vehicles for a living????

It's July/Almost August in Texas... No way I'm changing a tire in suit sweating like a whore in church.

Don't blame him.

Was a selling point for the car, was it not? He paid for the road side assistance insurance whether he uses it or not... wasn't just 'thrown in for free' like medicade.
Use it.

So, if you pay for a haircut but don't do it yourself you are doing a "prick move."

If I haven't hit my ATT roadside assistance limit for the year I call them and make them bring me 3 gallons of gasoline at a time until I reach the limit.
