Same. Its texture renders it unappetizing to me.

Rural country people love old chains like this. I remember one of my accounts had his best sales month one month. He lived an hour outside Dallas in the STICKS.

I told him to bring his wife in town and we would all go out to wherever he wanted, no budget.....he picked Red Lobster. I asked twice if he was sure.

I got the most expensive thing on the menu, and I think it was $29.99.

For those not near the gulf with access to fresh caught seafood, the gap between red lobster and other seafood restaurants is a lot smaller.

If you're on the coast you can't swing your arms without hitting a badass seafood place but go inland a few hundred miles.

I've lived in Flowood, MS for 27 years, I've never seen a customer in the BK drive through or inside in almost three decades, somehow they have remained open.

It didn’t last very long in Metairie in the 90s.

Imagine opening a seafood restaurant with pre-frozen seafood in a town known for fresh seafood.

The one in Monroe? I worked there too. This might be a legit could of been me situation.

Almost cringe to think we may have occupied the same space. When were you there?

Yep. I’m trying to think, sometime around 2005-2006. When you were there was Nick the GM?

Red Lobster is big here in Kentucky and Indiana and Ohio. Don't ask me why....I hate seafood. Those biscuits are tits though.

I have never even considered eating at a red lobster until now. It just has never come up as a viable option.

also, in many parts of the country they provide a reasonably priced seafood option

When I lived in King of Prussia, PA the Hooters I hung out at was right next door to a Red Lobster...this was 1998. It is still open.

Your answer is the correct answer...and the Cheddar Bay Biscuits

No doubt. Unfortunately I live in a landlocked state. During Lent I eat seafood on Fridays and cannot drive to the Gulf Coast to get it.
