No, the aircraft has auto-eject
I thought the B variant did have automatic ejection? Not sure where I've heard that.

AF F-35 seats have a RAT that runs a blender that makes a pitcher of Daiquiris, complete with a little umbrella, for the drift down

So we went from this kinda of snark
To this lame coverup once you were forced to used Google
Only the B variant has auto eject, and the whole point of this thread is to speculate about what could have gone wrong. In that speculation, I see nothing wrong with including a faulty auto eject mechanism.

used Google
Ejection is a very violent act. A pilot must have time to properly postion themselves, and even then ejection is known to break limbs and even backs and necks. 0 to 12 Gs in 2 seconds.
There are safety protocols and overrides. Sling a pilot out of a jet unexpectedly at 400-600 mph and you might rip off limbs or a head.

You know nothing about aviation or this incident but you’re certain that the pilots decision making is questionable.
What exactly are you’re trying to insinuate?

Thanks for the info. What does any of this have to do with you insinuating that the pilot HAD to have initiated an ejection?

I was told that's the end of your supersonic career when you do.

Remember the movie Broken Arrow with John Travolta where the pilot fake crashed the plane to steal the weapons and sell to terrorists? Probably something like that.
Now they have an F35 for the Ghost of Kiev to take to the skies once more !!

The pilot refused to follow an illegal order and bailed, where`s the plane?IDK have yet to see an aerial of the crash site.

If it were going 500mph, that corresponds with about 6 minutes of flight time.
Ejecting at 500mph will cause some serious damage to the person ejecting.

I’m not saying it’s a conspiracy, just that the decision making by the pilot doesn’t seem all that great

Good question that you obviously don't know the answer to. It is just as obvious that you nothing else of which you write.

"I think the f35 had an auto eject function. The pilot may not have ejected willingly."
I'm gonna try this one on my wife, see if it works!
