I actually dealt with this a couple years ago. She gained some weight and it became hard for me to perform in bed and I just waited until she asked what’s wrong and said “well I’m not being mean but honestly you’ve gained some weight and it’s just not a turn on for me”
She got upset but appreciated the honesty and I told her I love her no matter what but for our sex life to remain constant and enjoyable that both of us need to try to stay reasonably in shape
