I believe all of the '18 and newer F150s have this. I haven't heard of a permanent solution

Buy a Tundra instead.

I feel like this would have been a perfect question to ask the salesman.

Is this a worthwhile feature?

Yes, I’ve done it. They make modules you plug in and do it. Now my truck ain’t a bitch anymore. Can’t blame this cold snap on me, I’ve increased my carbon feetprintz as much as I could to stave off winter!

There is a part you can buy to disable it.

Cut the red wire.
No, or was it the blue.

Why? So he can be fed bullshite until after he signs the papers for the truck?

My 09 had this feature.
yeah, that was a relative term for me I guess. I had an '11 silverado that did it. I drive an 04 duramax currently. I'm just fricking up the environment left and right now.

Test drove an F150 and noticed that the engine turned off at every stop and restarted when I took my foot off the brake. There is a button to turn off this feature but you have to press this on every new trip you take in the vehicle. I have heard there are ways to permanently disable this but not exactly sure how this is done. Anyone do this yet?
buy a FORSCAN module and download the software. you can edit PCMs and change all kinds of things about the truck. Disable Start/Stop, disable double honk, auto fold mirrors at engine on/off, disable seatbelt warnings, etc.

It can't be disabled for some cars

Not IMO unless you are mainly a city driver. It is also just another thing that can break or go wrong. I say that because one of our fleet Escapes randomly does not start back up after it stops and it happens randomly so the dealer was unable to diagnose/fix. We now have to just remember to turn it off manually every time. I'm sure the car is in the very small minority when it comes to this issue arising though.
Also read online that there were issues with cars turning off while driving...again I am sure the issue is not very widespread (hopefully).

You're likely going to have to use a third party solution that risks voiding your warranty.
If automakers wish to take credit for the emission savings the autostart provides against their CAFE limits, they are not allowed to provide the customer a disable switch that latches and remains disabled even after the vehicle is turned off. If they aren't taking credit against CAFE standards, they're not adding that "feature" in the first place because they know people fricking hate it. So, if it's got that feature, there's almost certainly nothing Ford will officially do to help you defeat it.

dont ya love how they force all this new unwanted "improvements" on us?
if they feel they have to put all this crap in a vehicle then give us a simple menu screen to turn off the things we dont want
my favorite peeve is the auto unlock thing. pull over and park in a bad part of town to figure out how to get somewhere while you are lost and as soon as you put it in park every door is auto unlocked exposing you to getting robbed or jacked

how fricking lazy do you have to be to need doors auto unlock for you

While installing the trailer connection will disable the auto start / stop on the truck, it also disables the blind spot radar.

Dont the newer GMC's just drop down to 4CL when idling to help fuel economy without actually shutting the engine off?
My FIL just bought a Yukon that has both auto shutoff AND cuts down to 4 CYL which kicks in when driving down a road at a steady speed. I love it because it drives him absolutely nuts, but cured me of the desire to own one myself.

Unless you want to mess with the actual electronics, I don't think you can.
