1) Listen to their spiel and buy their shite
2) Listen to their spiel and tell them you're not interested
3) Open the door and tell them you're not interested
4) Ignore the doorbell/knock
5) Yell through the door and tell them to frick off
6)
7)Answer the door naked
8)PIITB
9)RIIYB
I've always done 4 but the solicitors have been so bad this month that I just ordered a 6.

My butler takes care of this, polite but firmly.

I have a gate at the end of my driveway

Is this common for some of you?
I get like 1 solicitor every two years.

I send them to my barrister

I ask them if they enjoy anal. They usually don’t know how to handle that question. The follow up is giving or receiving?

10) tell them I already bought it from a guy selling the same thing yesterday. Better luck next time...

I flat out tell them I'm not paying more than $5 for a handy.

I always answer the door and give them my "Bofa Routine", which is my litany of "Bofa deez nutz" jokes.
Knock Knock!
Who's there?
Bofa!
Bofa who?
BOFA DEEZ NUTZ! HAAAAA! GOT HEEEM!

I tell them no, at least the grownups, pretty rare that people come to my door
It's usually kids. If they live on my street i buy whatever it is if it is $20 or less
If it's girl scouts I'm in for 4 or 5 boxes, 2 Samoas at a minimum, peanut butter for the wife and the regular sugar cookies for the kids

Depending, if it isn’t UPS or Fed Ex or pizza, I open my door and let my German Shepherd bark and snarl a minute through the glass storm door. Once they get a good look at her, I might open the storm and thank them for coming, but that no matter what they have for sale I’m not interested. Then I close all doors and resume my life.

If someone is at the door, it's either a solicitor or just the Amazon delivery guy letting us know he left something on our porch.
Either way, no reason to answer the door.

3 normally, but if I have time or they're pissing me off, I'll listen to them for a minute then turn the conversation and start trying to sell them one of the my products. A variation of the Seinfeld telemarketer response

I don't. That's what dogs are for.
Seriously, I used to have the nicest (and dumbest) hound dog on the face of the planet. If someone had ever wanted to steal him, he would have jumped in the vehicle with that tail just a waggin' (and would have been promptly returned once they got tired of the baying). But I'll be damned if that dog didn't have every UPS, FedEx and USPS driver scared out of their mind of his psychotic barking when they pulled up. That dude would foam at the mouth, and all he wanted was for them to pet him...lmao!

I would never buy that sign because it's grammatically fricked up. Does No: no religion mean yes religion?
I would knock on your door just to point that out to you. Then of course to tell you about how Jesus died for your sins

I don't like them knocking on my door. If I was interested in buying anything you have to offer, I'd get in my truck and go buy it, so don't come knocking on my door trying to sell me something.
Generally I'll open my door and it only takes me a second to know they are trying to help me part with my money. It also only takes me about that amount of time to tell them not interested and close the door.

Might have to try that next time a Jehovah Witness shows up at the door.

As a salesman, I always give them a few mins and buy if I’m impressed or walk away if they’re bad. I believe in karma
