If sleeping alot bothers you then it is you who has a problem, not the one who wants to sleep....

All the people waking up at 4:30AM are going to sleep at like 9PM.
I generally stay up until 1AM on an average day so “sleeping in” by your standards is still the same or less sleep than you get.

That's the way I feel. I sleep 7-8 hrs most nights. I just do it at different times than some others.

You're right. I don't care about what other people's schedules are. I do get up at 3:45 am during the week to go to the gym then go to work. On the weekends, I will sleep until 5:30. During the week I am in bed by 8:30. It might seem weird to mist, but I like it.

I'm in bed around 11:30 during the week and up around 6:30. We sleep about the same amount but just have different hours.
Going to bed at 8:30 wouldn't work for us at all. We get home around 6 and after dinner, homework with the kids and bath it's 8:30 and we've had zero downtime yet.

I don't get people that take naps. I just think it's a waste of time.

This....I prefer to get up between 5:00 & 6:00. Occasionally will sleep until 7:00 or 8:00 on Sunday. Too much sleep is as bad as not enough for me.

I don't "sleep" very well. My circadian rhythm is all fricked up, and I rarely get to sleep before 2. Fortunately, I work for an online company, so I can go into the office whenever. The only time I'm up before 9 is when I have a tee time. I don't have kids yet, so I don't see any problem with it.

I had a roommate that was doing that. He was a big drunk and pot smoker and I don't know if he was on any anxiety or sleep meds. I would just guess in the last few months he was here before I kicked him out for getting behind on rent, he might have been sleeping some days 15 hours straight.
If you asking about a situation like that how I feel, I feel like he's a lazy piece of shite. He ended up taking up with some big girl that had the dreaded sex offender charges pending. When he first moved in he was running some hot strange through.

I wish I could sleep all day. Sounds magical.

I'd love to sleep in one day but my body doesn't work that way. I had two weeks off of work and was able to sleep in until 6am one morning

I will go months inadvertently "practicing" segmented sleep, which is when I feel my best. But, I haven't figured out how to force this habit. I can maintain it once the pattern is established, but I have no idea how to make it happen when I fall out of the pattern.

My daily routine is stay up until 12 or 1, wake up at 8, take a 1 hour nap around noon. Works perfectly

I have too many things to do most days to sleep all morning and even if I didn’t, I would feel like such a waste of life if I slept half the day away
when i'm on a normal schedule, i am starting to feel this way. my body is starting to wake me up before 7 without an alarm (used to be consistently up at 7-730 in the morning)
when i'm on a poker schedule...there are no rules

The very first thought I have in the morning when I was up is, "When will I have time for a nap?" And by nap, I mean 3+ hours. I don't even attempt to take a nap unless I have 3+ hours to spare.

I went to bed around 1 am Saturday Morning. I woke up at 5 pm Saturday. It is now 1 am Sunday. I am about to go to bed and will sleep till 3 or 4 pm today. I get like 5 hours of sleep a night during the week. I get mine on the weekend or when im off work.

I sleep until at least 11 am everyday. If you have a problem with that then go to hell.
