MAGA blames Joe Biden for all the inflation

Well, no, Trump started it in 2020, but Biden tripled down, and called it Putin's Price Hike. fricking laughable.

Some people need a good ostracizing

This is actually pretty much the point I’m trying to make and maybe didn’t explain it well.

We can be an accepting society while still ostracizing freaks and judging people who are crazy or make insane choices

Everyone is looking for truth. That should equalize everyone.
Where does absolute Truth come from?

old English for fidelity

the quality or state of being faithful or loyal. especially : loyalty to one's spouse in refraining from adultery and sometimes in submitting to a spouse's reasonable sexual desires.

This is something I’ve thought for a long time. Stereotypes exist for a reason. They are funny to me because I tend to gravitate towards pattern recognition. BUT I judge every individual I meet on their merit and integrity regardless of class, creed or color. We are all people. If you treat me with respect, it will be reciprocated full stop.

With regards to sexual orientation, I think society needs to adopt a don’t ask don’t tell policy. Just don’t talk about it. No orientation is better than the other. We don’t need to ostracize anyone, but we also don’t need to cater to anyone.

I know I sound horrible, but the only thing that would save it, in my opinion, is a communist dictatorship.

If we want to save our country we need to force people to follow societal norms. If they do not get rid of them. Ship them to an island and let them all kill each other. We can’t continue to let people act like freaks, weirdos, thugs, punks and criminals and accept it.

You fix societal issues by not embracing change that enables the degeneracy that we’ve seen occur.

Martin Luther King Jr. was right all those years ago. Just judge everybody by the content of their character. Problem is that's not what the people who came after him actually wanted.

Basically what I’m saying is IMO society needs to get to a point that it’s fine to be different, live your life and be yourself, at the same time people should know that choosing to be different means certain things will be harder for you and some people might judge you, if you’re okay with that, go for it.

You're arguing for people to not ostracize the different and for the different to be okay with being ostracized. Those two things are at odds with one another.

Humans are tribal by nature. Each "tribe" (whether it be a family, a neighborhood, a region, a country, etc) develops its own set of standards. Some give wide leeway to certain things while they also have hard limits on others.

Societies are built around some level of homogeneity, that enough of them feel the same way about enough of the same things to feel some level of kinship. If enough of those things are productive, you end up with a high-trust, productive society. If enough aren't productive, you end up with a low-trust society which is not just unproductive, but can be a danger to itself and other societies.

The more different someone is from the society they are in, the more marginalized they become unless they acclimate. The push for blind diversity and the coming of the internet broke that acclimation aspect.

No one wants to admit it, but the whole concept of “multiculturalism” has been an abject failure. It is against human nature and has never worked when tried. The Austro-Hungarian Empire and late Roman Empire are prime examples of what happens when a society tries to allow diametrically opposed cultures exist under the same political and societal umbrellas.

The only way America has been successful is when groups who come here meld their culture with American culture, “the great melting pot” as it was called. Now, groups are coming in, welcomed by leftists who loathe American culture, who have zero interest in assimilating into American culture. The result is our society is becoming Balkanized. The fire under the “great melting pot” has been turned off.

Tolerating differences is fine but where things went insane was having to pretend everything is equal.

Some things are just objectively better than others.

Being fat is objectively bad. You look bad, you feel bad, it's bad for your health and society.

If you want to be a 300 lb lardass that's your right but society shouldn't have to pretend your choice is super awesome.

Things that should be frowned upon and discouraged, but technically allowed are instead put on a pedestal and celebrated.

Societies can only thrive when people are encouraged to do things the right way.
