Not quite sure about "raising hell" but i will make comments. We know it's balls hot. We know it gets balls hot and stays that way until about late November. Doesn't change the fact that when you experience 5-6 months of cold to comfortably warm weather and you get hit in the face with 98 degree temps and 95% humidity, that it doesn't suck any less.

Summer here in the deep South is just a preview of what hell is like, even though I don't believe in such a place.

Yep. We've had a few days in the upper 90's, but otherwise the heat hasn't been too bad. The humidity this summer has been crazy though.

I didn't like this heat when I was 5 yrs old and I don't like it at 45 yrs old.
At least I don't start threads on the OT to bitch about what people bitch about.

It was an unusually long and mild spring that seemed to last into mid June, but since then, summer has emerged with a vengeance. Summer in south Louisiana always sucks. If I could afford to, I would likely live somewhere else for the summer starting after memorial day weekend and not coming back until the first home football weekend.

I've never liked it either. Granted, the weather from October through May is usually quite tolerable.

My neighbors go to their farmhouse in Wisconsin at the beginning of May and return around Halloween every year.
I get so jealous watching them pack up and leave every year.

Yeah early last week was actually "nice" for August. The mornings had very low humidity.

You say the same thing about any common frustration. Why do people get upset at politics, annoying things their coworkers do, people driving slow in the passing lane, bad calls in sports etc.

great weather I think this summer. only few days untolerable. very mild to me
