Libs: it’s very empowering for my 13 year old daughter to express and not repress her sexuality

People like to say things like this to diminish the older generations concerns, but drug use, children born out of wedlock, homelessness, and mental illness have trended up every decade. So every previous generation has been correct when they say things are getting worse

Teen pregnancy and abortions have dropped like a stone over the past 50 years.

Boomers and their parents were disgusting whores.

I imagine in the 1650’s there were puritan girls who wore bonnets a little smaller and dresses that showed a 1/4 inch more of their forearms, and the older generation was shocked and appalled
——were their asses and boobs hanging out? No.

When the parents do get called by the school to bring some decent clothes to missy the parents get angry at the school.

Education, STDs and birth control had a lot to do with that.

The rule for how my daughter dresses is she better be comfortable seeing me wear it out in public too. If she wears a thong bikini. So do I.

That's a good question. Young teen girls are dressed like hookers anymore

you must be a teen guy to think 50s fashion is equivalent to today’s
Its all relative. At one point women were considered complete whores for showing any leg while at the beach

And also, parents raised in the 50s likely lost their collective fricking minds when girls started showing their stomachs like this

It wasn’t until the early 1900s that youth culture was created. Before that peers were introduced by parents and kids of their friends. They hung out in communities and multi generational gatherings, and the desire of a teen was to be like their parent. Kids can only have one compass point, and if it’s not the parent it’s 180 degrees away from them. Now kids are raised by other kids and the definition of dysfunction.

You are a gentleman and a scholar!

Have an upvote.

FWIW, I came from the real arse whomppin generation

Both parents could swig a razor strop, but women had the added advantage of beating you with their shoe.

Aunt T's (not your blood aunts but neighbors who had the ability to beat your arse (to be fair, they also had the ability to give you hard rock candy without having to check with your parents)

Nun's - If you have never been beaten by a nun, you have never fully experienced the real Fear o' God!

Principle - those paddles were not just for show, they left a mark!

Coaches - by todays standard all of them would be doing time in jail

Bullies - you had to learn to fight. You may not win but eventually they moved on to easier targets

I taught my daughter at a young age that it’s better to wear clothes that cover up most her body so she doesn’t getting attacked by mosquitoes. It’s worked so far.
