We were married to other people and were strictly friends at work where we saw each other 2-3 times a week for about 7 years. She changed jobs, and we didn’t make an effort to stay in touch. A couple of years later I was divorced, and happened to run into a mutual friend who told me she was also available, we dated a few years, and have now been married 17.

My roommates threw a party in college at our apartment for homecoming. My wife was there. We danced together, but that was that, didn't really think anything of it.
Later on, she was so drunk, she accidentally sat on my lap, thinking that I was one of her friends. When she realized her mistake, she tried to get up, but I grabbed her by the waist because I didn't want her to go. She stayed on my lap, and we ended up just talking the entire night for hours. Weird thing is, even though she was on my lap, I wasn't even thinking about sex. We connected deeply and talked about all kinds of random shite. (I think that's what attracted me to her so much ultimately, probably the first woman I've held a conversation with for that long where my intention wasn't purely to have sex with eventually.)
When she left, I realized what an idiot I was. I forgot to get her number. I was convinced that was going to be the last time that I ever saw that woman in life, and that I probably just missed out on yet another opportunity because of my stupidity. Turns out, I lucked out. I saw her the upcoming Monday. She technically made the first move and asked for my number before I could. From there, the rest is history.

I also have many uncles, aunts and cousins who are very significant as well. They also have real names as well. She hired me for my first job out of college...she was my boss. We started dating after I moved to a different part of the department a few months later

Similar story here. Met on Tinder. She’s a little younger than me. I was commuting and finishing my last semester when she was a freshman. My brother went to the same college. They’re the same age and they were actually neighbors for a year.
