There’s still a “Member List” link in the three dots to the right of TD Store that lists everyone online. Right now it has 890 names. Too many for each page to display.

Surfed on in through a link on dandydon. I have wasted countless hours on this site since that day!

Drinking one night, this sobered me up. Somewhere around 2004 I think.

Got into an argument with a buddy of mine. Told him driving fast is obviously more fuel efficient and cheaper since it takes less time to get to the destination. He wanted proof, so I did a google search. The rest is history and we both drive a good 20 mph over the posted speed limit whenever possible.

Feeling nostalgic one day, I googled Martello Castle, the old fort that was located in Lake Borgne just north of the Ship Channel. I had stayed in that old fort several times back in my youth since I knew the folks that had it back then and we used it as a base camp for extended fishing trips.

There was a link to some posts about it in Tigerdroppings and I clicked on it. Been here since.


The pictures of the old fort reduced to a big pile of rubble were heartbreaking to see. Just goes to show what time, weather and neglect can do to such places.
