Just the thought of it is enough to cause to me to cancel the surgery 4 times. Maybe the 5th time I’ll grow a pair and go get em snipped.

They offered nitrous oxide for mine and I gladly accepted. Best decision I have ever made. I huffed so much nitrous I was running around in a cartoon world. It was amazing.

very easy procedure. The hot young nurse shaving my balls was a nice plus. Do it the week of March Madness. Sit home on frozen peas and watch hoop and not get called on to do any honey-do's

Im a giant pussy when it comes to needles and medical procedures. I can honestly say that my vasectomy was a walk in the park. Nothing to it. If youre wanting to get it done, dont let fear be the reason you dont.

My insurance covered anesthesia at 100% so I took a nap during the procedure

The nurse taped mine to my stomach. That was weird.
The worst part was shaving "the area" beforehand. I no doubt shaved more than I needed to, but I didn't know what the hell they wanted and didn't want to have to sit there while a nurse cleaned up my failure.

it's not...
the "pain" is equivalent to getting hit in the nuts, which subsides pretty quickly after the procedure, and as long as you do your aftercare correctly (sitting on frozen peas/corn/etc) for a few days, you'll be up and at 'em very soon after... best decision I've made in a long time getting mine done

Wasn’t bad. Poppin those first few nuts with blood in them freaked me out. Doc forgot to tell me about that little nugget.
