The issue is that you can do the same experiment all over the world and come to the same result.

bullshite. There are two "suns". Antarctica just has it's own mini "sun". Also, mirrors and trickery are afoot.

The rays of light in your picture have already encountered objects and been refracted. Plus you are observing them from straight below.
