BTW, this is the fall out of #metoo when even sex which, at the time appeared 100% consensual, can be weaponized LITERALLY decades after it occurred.

Is a research center considered a business if they publish papers on their work? They could team up with the folks from the group-of-scholars-trolls-academic-journals thread to help them publish research.

If I read it correctly, the business is modeled as a showroom that sells the robots. For a fee, you can try one (or more) out like you would an expensive car. It's also supposed to be a contactless system. You set up your trial time and pay a machine, then you are directed to the room where the doll is set up for your test run. No judgmental looks from staff guaranteed. The scary thing is on their website they talk about how well they clean up between trials, but then recommends protection just incase.
