If you don't hunt or fish....what would make you want to live in North LA?

Oh and to answer the OP....Houston

I'll admit I'm a bit ignorant on the nuances of NLa hunting.

Specifically, NE LA. I'm not to high on anything past Ruston. Duck hunting and deer hunting are much better in this micro-region of LA.

I have never heard of one North LA resident say anything negative about South LA but South LA folks are non-stop shite talking about how we should be part of Arkie, or MS, or East Texas. Never understood why we can't be just one happy state? Are South LA people just butthurt that they are all midgets?

North LA would be the last place I would pick.

because NLa is part of La and brings down the mean in Louisiana as a whole of course!!

Also it's just a little shite talking telling people to be annexed to the state in which they support the other states sports teams, and majority of the out of state team lovers reside in NLa

But for real, some guy came in hear lauding the hunting and fishing of NLa like it was some huge advantage and a reason to live there over SLa, I think it's at best a tie, although I think the sure awesomeness of SLa fishing trumps even the one thing NLa has going for it.... Could be depressing for some.

You don't think any of these "NOLA is a cesspool" comments come from people who reside in the northern part of the state?

Gets old. Plenty of money to be made here, but we're headed back to Louisiana next year. The people, the food and the lifestyle are just better in Louisiana and that means a lot when it comes to quality of life. Money isn't everything. I've lived in the DFW for 15 years. Stressful place to live.

I've lived in all four places and I would definitely choose Houston. There's a great job market, lots of things to do, and there's plenty of LA folks and LSU bars for game day.

Houston, or really, right outside of Houston....

TX pays more to pharmacists than here, though in LA, BR is one of the higher paying places... no state income tax.... lots of women to choose from... lots of things to do.... major sports teams in the big 3 sports...

FWIW, i love in BR, or really, right outside of BR... i used to live in NOLA, or really right outside of NOLA, and while i liked it, it wasn't a place i wanted to raise a family in...

Houston - more opportunity than the other 3 combined. No contest.
