Agree. And if in rush hour, triple the ticket. There’s absolutely no reason to cause a wreck on the interstate.

Yea, it's almost always dumb looking trashy people that get in wrecks on the interstate. Standing there on the side of the road in their pajama pants and crocs. This country needs more shame. I'm sure 90% of them were on their cell phones and/or driving terribly. Then they get Gordon despite being responsible for the accident.

Are we ever going to get mad at people in the right lane for going 10 under the speed limit? There are a lot of drivers who just want to do 5 -10 over. The right lane is too slow for that, and the left lane too fast. Whats the solution?
If I have cruise control set to 80, I will eventually ride someones arse in the right lane. As soon as I get in the left lane - and I mean like clock work - theres an a-hole flashing their lights at me up my arse. And I haven't even passed yet. It's hilarious.

Yes, on one hand, you're going faster than the right lane, so you're passing them on the left. On the other hand, the perpetual passers (i.e. if I'm going faster than everyone I can stay in the left lane) disagree, and think you should get over because you're now the slower traffic that should keep right because they are going 90.

Being responsible for a wreck in these conditions is proof that you are an idiot and have no business operating a motor vehicle

It's an understandable sentiment, though it's not a crime. Pretty sure at-fault people get citations and possibly lose driving privileges because the impacts of the accident. One "accident" (which are almost always preventable if people weren't being stupid), has a disproportionate effect on the travelling public compared to the relatively small cost of the accident. All that time lost is expensive even though it's not a hard cost that easily quantified.

I've wanted a State Trooper on the opposite traffic flow direction of the wreck with a sniper rifle, and a bulldozer. If your dumb arse slows down to gawk at a wreck on the other side of the interstate, the sniper pops you a new arsehole right between the eyes, and the dozer operator clears the road. The first few drivers being popped should get the traffic flowing again...

That's not what he's asking. He's going 10 over and actively passing slower people on the right. You roll up behind him going 25 over. Is he supposed to get over and slow down if he's already actively passing cars on the right?

I agree in the grand scheme. But driver awareness is at an all time low.
If you are going 73mph in the left lane while slowly passing cars and you have (2) cars coming up on you then you definitely have the responsibility to slightly speed up and get the frick over.
Too many petty people that slow down or keep a minimum speed while "passing" that have 0 regard for others going faster.
If someone is on your bumper trying to get around you then simply speed up and get over. But people don't, they slow down or make traffic worse to prove a point.
If you are going 75 and people are going 85 then its courteous to just get out the way. That is your actual responsibility. It is not your responsibility to force them to slow down or prove a point.
My biggest pet peeve is being forced to pass a driver in the right lane and then they speed up when you are on side of them. And then get angry when you cut them off. The world is better off with those people in a ditch then on the actual road.

I care. If you’re already going 10mph faster than the speed limit there’s zero need to pass anybody.
A lot of people on this board think they’re Jeff Gordon. If you’re going more than 10 over you’re probably a small peen dodge charger driving a-hole.
