Bloomberg News: Houston-area covid ICU census plunges 18% to 2-week low of 811 patients.

This tracks with stabilizing TX numbers.

I know exactly how the wet rags will spin this

“Hospitalizations are down because a bunch of people are dying in the hospitals and freeing up space”

Yeah but now they won’t be concerned about hospitalizations. It’ll be the increasing number of positive tests from people who have sinus infection type symptoms.

Data is useless now because you have to wait 2 more weeks after the first 2 weeks, then you might be able look at the data 2 weeks after that, but should still probably wait 2 weeks.

Lol at that graph adding in "universal masks" as if anyone has any idea what kind of outcome it would cause.

It’s pretty easy to plug in a known effect size for a known quantity into an exponential equation.

Did they not teach you algebra?

I know you’ve had issues with decimal places in the past.

Obviously Governor Cuomo is to thank for saving AZ and TX.

I still haven't seen that piece of shite Desantis answer for his failures in NY, though.

So deaths were rising even with masks and when the restrictions were eased all of a sudden the mask-death projections turn down. Do you think that is real?

Arizona is gonna be done with this. Most of population around Phoenix.

Texas will have more pops due to multiple metros.

Houston wrapping Covid up.

Thoughts on Dallas and SA

This may be Germans as I haven't read every COVID thread. According to a golfing buddy, who is an orthodontist and whose daughter is a nurse at a major hospital, the hospitals are being paid by the government an additional $30k for each patient diagnosed with COVID19 symptoms - cases being exaggerated as the hospitals cash in.
