For fcks sake. What does it matter to you all why there is a gofundme or what the money will be used for?
Honkus is going to be getting off a plane(hopefully) later on today and will probably want to check in on the thread and see what is new friends have had to say, and he doesn't need to read a bunch of bickering about this.

The better question is why are you getting so butthurt about people asking why they need donations and where the money is going/what it's going to be used for.

To clarify what I’ve read here, the wofenand children went way before Honkus by at least two or three weeks if not a month.

The last 1.5 pages is probably why Honkus didn't want a GFM started at all.

Honkus' flight was cancelled, no refund.
His sister should probably out a bit more info as to why $7,500 is needed instead of the $4,400, but it's safe to assume it's for some incidentals and 4 cross country flights to Rhode Island.

These weren't canceled though. It was only the flight out of China that was canceled... unless we are to believe "airchina" services Rhode Island as well. People are correct to question things before giving away money. And let's see if it shuts down once the goal is reached.

I have not donated to the GFM. Honkus is a good friend of mine and I will venmo him directly and cut out the % GFM keeps if he needs help upon his return. That being said, you keep saying “no clue where the money is going” yet its been posted multiple times. You have no clue how long his family has been there or any of the details as to him trying to return home. Read the thread, catch up on the details, and quit acting like a douchebag

Yea the flights back is $4400, That family is also out the original fight home ticket $$$, Also out the 14 days of quarantine time where they will not be able to be at work, pay normal bills, will fall more and more behind finacially. They didn't ask for this situation and didn't ask for the money help. Someone else is doing that on their behalf. It's there if you wanna donate. If not don't. Its that fkn easy. But to question it is a douche move.
