Somebody gave one $20. Hundreds more showed up the next day.

Police are too busy ticketing people for going 3 mph over the speed limit to worry about things that actually matter

Also noticed an encampment @ Jones Creek and Coursey at the site where Exxon station was torn down.

It’s fricking terrible. Why don’t the police run them off?

There was a big one behind the big lots store near Cortana under some magnolia trees...it was nasty. Finally the prop owner trimmed back the trees and landscaping and ran them off. It’s probably those same people. They are or were in every nook and cranny downtown as well.

The police cannot do anything about these places unless the property owners file a complaint. The issue is that many of these owners are corporations located out of state and have no clue what is going on.

The surrounding neighborhoods and HOAs have contacted the local Sheriff’s department but they claim they cannot do anything.

Yep. Eventually people started calling the home office of Jack in the box about that run down closed location on Coursey. They eventually got a response and cleaned it up some.

I see cops run them off at college & I12 sometimes. They just go away for a few minutes and come back.
