I know this isn't what people want to hear, but it's accurate. These scumbags get appeal after appea and we, the taxpayers, have to foot the bill. Stick him in an 8x8 room with no windows and no contact with the outside world for the rest of his life. If you think about what that would be like, that's a hell of a punishment.

Yep and those appeals cost a ton of money.

HC i think I get what you're trying to say, but you picked the absolute worst thread to say it. Situational awareness. Work on it.

That's not cruel enough. He needs to stare death in the eyes just like his victims did. If it was up do me I would put him in a straight jacket, chain him to a tree, and put a pork chop around his neck in the middle of grizzly bear country

That's too easy.
Cut his Achilles, get a sledgehammer and break his legs and knee caps, then break his arms, cut his fingers off and put him on top of an antpile. Go back every two days and give him water to stay alive until the ants kill him.

Yeah, I'd rather die than be in solitary confinement for the rest of my life. That would drive me insane after about a year of living in a damn closet by myself.

You're right. He doesn't look Mexican at all. Not what I expected when his photo was released.

He's likely Cuban. And for the most part, they have lighter skin.

Absolutely you can. You don't have to be overly anxious, just prepared. I knew it was the help from the start.

Not saying you're wrong but I see them in solitary all the time on Lockup. Maybe it's just temporary though.

Don't know where Lockup is. In LA, isolation (it's not even called that anymore) is just a cell on a tier with a few privileges taken away. (Unless something has changed in the past decade or so.)

It's a tv show filmed in prisons across the U.S.

That's crap. Where do they get those numbers from? The DA and state attorneys are getting paid regardless of which case they are working. The accused often has a bunch of pro bono assholes working for them. The judges are paid regardless. Where's the big extra expense? Those are statistics put out by anti-death penalty groups to dissuade the public's support.

There's more to it than that. Expert costs, trial transcripts, appellate brief after brief, overtime among a number of other things. Who do you think pays appointed lawyers?
