I'd still be thinking back to the last day that everything was normal and wanting to go there. I'd also be thinking about why didn't I go by there that day at that time or why didn't I call the police the first time I realized I couldn't get them. I'd be thinking a lot about whys and ifs, none of which would have made any difference in all liklihood.

I would also have a hard time not picturing their last moments knowing the facts. And, I'd want them to lock me in a room with the creep.

Quick death is too easy for him. Costs more to try and save his life anyway. He needs some suffering before he goes to his grave. I'm so damn glad they got him. I think they'll get the other person pretty soon unless he made it to a boat.

We do, but even those sentenced to death rarely get put to death. When it does happen, the crime was usually committed 20+ years before. I can't remember the last person executed. I think it may have been that Bordelon guy that raped and killed his step daughter and threw her under a bridge. Hell, Derek Todd Lee killed 6 women that we know of and his arse has been sitting on death row for a decade. We need to get on the ball and start killing these guys. Hell, start doing one every Friday night until Death Row only has the people on appeal waiting there.

There are problems with the lethal injection drugs.

LINK

Appeals take a long time and they're expensive. It's cheaper to lock them up for life. Takes more of my money to kill them.

I wish we could just lock people like this in a dark cell and let them die. frick this motherfricker for killing them. He knew he'd be caught either way. Why not just leave them tied up and run with the money? Maybe he was too scared to ever look them in the eye again if he was caught. Greed

I know this isn't what people want to hear, but it's accurate. These scumbags get appeal after appea and we, the taxpayers, have to foot the bill. Stick him in an 8x8 room with no windows and no contact with the outside world for the rest of his life. If you think about what that would be like, that's a hell of a punishment.

There's no reasoning for this shite. It's crazy. Hope he gets the shite beat out of him, maybe in court someone from the victims family will snap and break a chair over his head.

Every other country that doesn't have the death penalty handles their lifers like this. They can say that they don't condone capital punishment, but they do.

Seems legit.

That's not cruel enough. He needs to stare death in the eyes just like his victims did. If it was up do me I would put him in a straight jacket, chain him to a tree, and put a pork chop around his neck in the middle of grizzly bear country. He will be praying to starve to death before a grizzly finds him.

Maybe but it does the job.

People need to realize since Cuba has a dictator once Cubans touch American soil they cannot be deported. I rather him get arse raped and get the shite beating out of him everyday till he dies in Angola. Then he can spend eternity in hell where he belongs.

"People need to understand, this is unusual where we are, however this is the same scenario that's carried out every day all over our parish in different areas of our city and this one hits here now because it's here," said District Attorney Hillar Moore. "But we have to recognize this happens all over our parish and people ought to be outraged and indignant for every homicide, just not a select few."

This incident IS horrible, and my prayers go out to the family. In fact we have some mutual acquaintances. But, "outrage" for this single crime alone is akin to the #blacklivesmatter campaign.
