Yup.

And you’re in BR, so prices aren’t that jacked up. Imagine if you were in a bigger, tourist ctiy.

We were at the hotel bar in Miami before an event in January. It wasn’t a big event, nor was it a busy tourist time for the area. Two Modelo’s cost us $24.

Then don’t go out if that’s too much money for you.

Did you try and haggle with them before opening a tab?

Funny how you are OK with yourself making a very healthy margin on your goods that you peddle but don’t like it when a bar just tries to make a moderate one.

These are the people who fork over $1,000 for a Chinese phone but you can audibly hear his butthole clenching over a $26 night out.

When I’m in a pinch out of town and want a quick meal I’ll grab something at chic fil a or somewhere else. Damn near $20 for a burger, fries, and drink

Reading comp -get some.
OP said $130.00 for his night out-not 26.00.

Concert alcohol prices have always been high. But I do agree it's ridiculous.

Y’all just made me look it up and I see Wayne Toups is playing tonight. Haven’t been there in forever but is it really that trashy?

It’s the drinks that have gone way up. The mixed drinks

When we go out no mixed drink is under $12 anymore and I’ve noticed they are all measuring their pour and instead of 2oz many are doing 1 or 1.5.

They are cutting corners wherever they can. I drink beer or wine now when I go out. Last time I ordered a mixed drink I had two manhattans that I drank in 20 minutes and didn’t even feel a buzz. It was like having a Coke.

Even if you’re not a screen junky, you’re going to use that phone for hundreds and hundreds of hours. Probably thousands.

That $26 bought him a couple of hours of being buzzed.

Even the rich deserve to get their money’s worth. It’s not a question of whether you can afford it.

You could have bought about 5 24 packs of miller and watched a concert on YouTube at home for the same price

Now imagine how expensive it would be to go somewhere nice and see a good performer.

You would have had to pay me 10X that amount to sit through a Cowboy Mouth concert. #gawdawful

This. Plus half of the time they don’t even make the drink right. That’s why I stick to bottled drinks now (wine/beer). The bartender can’t screw that up.
