Mrs Pimp and Holly are friends so she is very sad tonight. My wife was always texting Holly photos of food we ate on vacation and loved Holly. They were also exercise buddies. She’s been dreading this day.
RIP Holly.
RIP Holly.

Condolences. She seemed like a nice person and was a great representative for BR. Glad her battle is over. Wish her family well.

For those from other states she was a near icon locally initially because of her cook books which we all own. She sold 1.5 million of those books. And she was a constant on local news for decades.

Terrible news but I’m glad she’s no longer in pain
May she Rest In Peace & her family find comfort in the many ways she helped the community

I remember reading her articles in the media back in my days in BR — pre-internet. She was southern version of Julia Child. She was pure. Born to do what she was doing. A homemaker to the core. An icon who wasn’t trying to be one.
RIP to this wonderful woman. Prayers to family and friends (the pimp clan) during this difficult time.
We grieve for the loss, but must take comfort that her struggle is over.

Big loss for our little neck of the woods, She was a class act.

I worked for her brother in law a while back when he owned Magnolia Cafe & the Steam Room Grille in the 90s.
