Offender

Petgrave has a history of bad behavior in the EIHL, including racking up the most penalty minutes (2022-2023 season) and getting booted out of games

How poor of a skater do you think this professional hockey player is?
That gif shows a hard brake so he can change directions and kick out at the guy he killed.

It's pride. He's going to argue for 15 pages even when facts slap him across the face.

Could this accident have resulted from a combination of high testosterone and fast twitch muscle advantage?

Nah, but I expect it maybe go to 9 pages when there aren’t any charges and people melt
ell, you keep mentioning all your hockey experience, in all of that experience, how many flying jumping karate kicks have you seen?

intent looks like it was there...not a natural move on the ice "non-figure skating". Intent to be lethel heck no but up to the prosecutors to decide....was there a reason for him to go after that guy? Previous fight or issue...then it could be premeditated attack...

I don’t think anyone will be shocked. Plausible deniability. He immediately put out there that he’s “distraught.” And his team put out a public statement that they support him. No players from the game have commented yet other than Petgrave.
I don’t know English laws well enough to know if there could be a civil lawsuit.

You expect a country like England that is completely ruined by wokism/PCness is going to bring charges against a minority? A country that is charging people with Orwellian thought crimes? And you think that has any impact on the merit of the argument that it was intentional? That's weak even for you.

Using the video it’s ridiculous to say it’s on purpose. He goes to check the skater and he contacts the front man, and misses (barely grazes him) then loses his balance. You can see his skate wobble and dig into the ice as well

Guessing you've obviously never played hockey or ice skated in any competitive manner what so ever

I played hockey in a league for a few years and there is NO circumstance where you stumble, dig into the ice, or check another player and your opposite leg accidentally flies 5.5 feet in the air. Think about the physics you're implying here, it's ridiculous
Not saying the guy MEANT to slash his throat, but as someone who played hockey for years and can ice skate with the best of them - he absolutely, 100% without a doubt meant to *kick* the now-deceased opponent. There is no other explanation to anyone that knows what they're looking at

I spend half my life watching and obsessing about hockey. I love the game. Go Avs. I cannot bring myself to watch this video. So Imma sit this one out for now.

quote:I didn’t play hockey. A bunch of my friends have. I’ve skated with them is all. None of them have ever seen anything like this because good skaters don’t lose control like that. You have to be hit pretty hard for your feet to accidentally go that high or be pushed forward with your feet coming out from under you. All other slashing incidents have come with a guy going to the ground and not feet coming up. This one is unique… probably because it was on purpose huh?

Pride white knighting for an outlaw English hockey player is comical
Dude couldn’t admit he is wrong to save his own life. Laughing stock of multiple boards
