I think he wanted to cause injury for sure but I do not believe he aimed to do what was done.

Probably an accident. We lost a local high schooler last year in the same way. His dad was in the stands. Just fricking terrible.

If you kick someone with a hockey skate though what can you expect? I mean if I swing a baseball bat at someone and hit them in the head and it kills them, that doesn't exonerate me?

Looks like his skate gets caught in the ice then checks up to me. You can see his left angle get turned inwards than his skate starts bouncing

anybody got the uncut footage(no pun intended).

Years ago there was a very bloody accident where the goalie I believe got his throat slashed. He's bleeding all over the ice but he miraculously survived.

accident. he was trying to check the other player. momentum and bad decision caused the neck kick.

I found it on the Twitters. He gets up and skates off the ice with help while bleeding profusely. He doesn't die on the ice.
