Between him, my wife and I, we have all approached her and got the exact same response.

In the OP I mentioned some South Americans I know suspected she was illegal. To dive further into that theory, they said with the current political climate with ICE/deportations that illegals are on high alert and avoid as many interactions with someone they do not know as possible.

I'm not going to drop the dime on them, but still, that's an issue in itself for our community. We look out for one another on my block. Keep an eye on each other's homes if someone goes out of town, pick up their mail, etc. That all relies on communication.

Without communication, what do we have? I'll tell you what we have... Anarchy.

If you live in a decent neighborhood, you shouldn't worry about your non-white neighbors. They should be just fine. I had a neighbor who was a older white guy who was a drunk. I hated him. An older black couple bought his house. I had to shape my house up some so they wouldn't view me as a bad neighbor.

The new neighbor was a badass cook who would always invite us over when he cooked out. He was a great neighbor. When we sold the house, the new owner bought it to rent but has left it abandoned. It looks atrocious. I had to go apologize to my former neighbor. I really thought the buyer, a local politician (now former politician) would do better. The yard looks like a weed forest, but because of the buyer's connections, no one with the City will do anything.
