I'm pretty torn on this one. I love being outraged but I just can't figure which side to take. I don't give a shite about lions but the people like the OP who get upset that other people are upset seem kind douchy......
Anything else going on this week that can settle my craving for outrage?

Anything I don't know about. I generally don't have opinions on something until I know something about it. I can hate that some pussy felt the need to destroy something beautiful for no other reason than to make himself feel tall. I can be disgusted by the actions of Planned Parenthood, and their frightening business practices. So if this would have been a non-famous lion it wouldn't be a big deal?
See this is why I only hunt homeless people... nobody cares about them.

I will say that I'm not really "outraged" by the killing of Cecil. Other than facing the penalties of which Walter is due for his actions, I don't think he should be lynch mobbed the way he is. Animal activists are crazy to their core.
I just think a greater effort should be taken in protecting threatened and endangered animals. It's a particular issue I've grown to care a lot for, and that's why I'm taking the side that I am.

Let Scruffy ask you a question.
What is the difference between the outrage over this one lion killed by a hunter while hundreds are killed by poachers and the outrage when a black individual is killed by a white man while hundreds are killed by other blacks?
The answer is, there is no difference.
Both ignore the true issues.
No one cares about poaching right now because all the focus is put on big game hunting, which has an astronomically smaller impact.
These bouts of outrage do nothing but overshadow true problems that need fixing, and all of the Internet warriors are to blame.
