Hippos are scary animals

This is a video of hippos chasing a tourist boat in Africa. It’s incredible how aggressive and territorial those things are. They portrayed as cute, cuddly animals in some kid cartoons, but they actually kill more humans than any other animal in the world. They are vicious.
Don’t frick with the hippos from Africa. (Or the ones from Louisiana if you know what I mean)

at one point the state was looking at introducing hippos into the waters here to control invasive plants. imagine the shite show that would have been.

Yep. I’ve had conversations with a guy in the South African military. When they are out at night, they aren’t afraid of lions, elephants, etc. They are terrified of hippos, and they hate hyenas because they are cowardly, opportunistic little bitches.

Thers an IG video of a Hippo killing a Kudu that seeks shelter from some wild dogs in a pond. Its brutal. Just like the video of an adult hippo biting a baby hippo and killing it.
