Sorry you're poor. And a douche.

Nothing wrong with liking nice stuff or being thoughtful about giving a gift.

And there's sure as hell nothing wrong with a fricking sunset!

How does owning a flask make one a gentlemen or discerning?

Just to take to the beach and watch the sunset. Not smuggling.

I would wait for the Yeti flask, that way his drink stays ice cold on the beach.

Stop being an enabler. Doing alcohol is not cool.

I’ve always thought everything decorative about a flash was waisted space.

Just whatever looks cool and don’t waste your time making sure it’s top of the line. Inside they’re just tin with a metal lid.

Does YETI make flasks?

Mossy Oak does

No they don’t. They buy cheap, probably made in China, flasks and then plaster their logo and camouflage on it and sell it to chumps.

Forget the flask, and get him some top of the line, quality booze.

Sounds like a fricking douche. You should take this birthday as the chance to ignore him and cut him out of your life.

Those best-of-everything types are pretty insufferable. Unless you're an Arab sheik or Laney Chouest or something, please don't spend more than $15 on a flask.

It doesn't. He is particular (aka somewhat difficult), but he shows up when I need him and is a good friend.

He researches everything he buys and it's DEFINITELY not about brand name, but about quality. Which is why I asked this board.

Thanks for the laughs and the suggestions.
