I want to get my friend a flask for his birthday. He's the sort of friend that only likes top of the line, quality products.
My knowledge of flasks is slim:I don't know if leather vs plain is better.

Depends on whether he is using it for smuggling into events, or just for carrying his own beverage of choice to social gatherings.
