Wife needs a new ride. We have two kids and that’s it. I personally like the GC Summit - she thinks we may need a third row...I call BS. Anyone have these rides - recommendations?

4Runner - end of conversation.

A Highlander will leave you wanting more power and a sturdier feel on the road. A Grand Cherokee will inevitably break within a year or two.

Without knowing anything more, 4runner

What do you need in a vehicle? Commute? Etc.

Highlander if kids, 4Runner if not.

Grand Cherokee has the nicest ride, interior and looks but will break in the most expensive ways possible.

Highlander doesn't compare to the other two based on what it's aimed to do.

IF it's for your wife, the Highlander is the best option.

The '18 Chevy Traverse is the shite... The LTs have the back captain's seats with a 3 person 3rd row...

They start in the upper 30's, the Premier is the upper 40's..

Thanks that’s what I was wondering. The Summit trim is incredible - Blows the yota’s away. But I don’t want to fix shite

Have both a 4Runner and a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I'd pick the jeep everyday.

were in the market for a new vehicle and we have the grand cherokee, and we have two small kids. its not big enough, we are looking at the other two options you have listed, so im interested in peoples response to those.

eta: we have the limited trim.

I have the overland trim and I chose it over a 4-runner.

That’s what I’ve heard. I’ve never had either but the reliability score for the newer jeeps is higher than the 4Runner.

Why though?

The wife won't be offroading, most likely won't be towing. So why is it the best choice to put her in the smaller, more uncomfortable, less efficient vehicle?

Grand Cherokees are the nicest pieces of shite cars on the road. I just spent the weekend fixing one. Chrysler/Fiat has major quality problems from cost cutting
