The resale makes me want to pick 4Runner

This is a great reason to do it.

Wife has a Jeep GC Limited. It has certainly changed since the early 2000s. The ride is ridiculously smooth. I have a Tacoma and I would venture to say it would drive similar to the 4Runner. The Grand Cherokee shits on my Tacoma on terms of smooth ride and luxury. Its a bad arse SUV.

The fuel savings with the Highlander will make up most if not all the resale difference depending on how many miles you drive per year.

The Atlas looks like it’s hungover with those baggy headlights...just an ugly vehicle.

Upper 40's for a traverse? Wow. That's crazy.

And front end on 2018 looks awful in person. We were looking at Premier it was 42k, for 3k more got a Tahoe V8.

That said love my Traverse. Better than Acadia and bigger than the rest of the class. We will keep ours a minimum of 5 more years.

Yeah I was surprised to see the Acadia went smaller than the traverse this gen. Nice to see them differentiate between brands for once, but odd.

Brother has a Terrain which is basically a smaller version of the Acaida, he's had it 2 years, excellent vehicle so far, no issues. He traded his wife's Grand Cherokee with the hemi for it, to be fair that was also an excellent vehicle, until it just got older and developed older vehicle issues, but man were they expensive. $2K for a replacement nav/stereo, $250 for trans cooler lines (that's just the parts) things like that.
