I would’ve guessed Pete Sampras being on there when I see some of the other sporting names.

he must have sold his show into syndication that year

I presume that's where the seinfeld/david money comes from

does that market still exist? at least at that level?

It’s crazy how Federov was paid so much and hockey players don’t sniff that now

A little surprised not to see one of Greg Maddux, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, or maybe Ken Griffey Jr. on the list.

David Letterman is definitely missing.

Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David making a combined $500 million in 1998 is wild.

He was a F1 driver, in '98 he was driving for Ferrari and had 2 previous championships with Benetton, and went on to win 5 more with Ferrari.

As many did on that list he did a lot better financially in the next decade his house in Gland alone cost over $50 million to build.

He had a skiing accident on late 2013 and his condition is closely guarded and not fully known. He has never been seen in public or in any pictures or videos since he left the hospital.

sounds like a thriller screenplay waiting to be written

did he disappear with his money?

is he dead and an imposter took his place?

several ways you could go with it

The reality is he is just at home with his family and really fricked up. This is a situation where money and connections kept him alive when most people would rather have died.

There were rumors around Jan or Feb this year that his condition is actually improving and he is no longer bed ridden.

I would have thought Michael Jackson would be on that list.
