Started having less and less fun going out. When you do go out you know less people as most of your friends are home with their kids.

Just wait until your 40's, that all changes once the people's kids are older and most are divorced.

All you young guys complaining about turning 30.. Christ, this will be the best times of ya'll's lives..

Probably the first time of your lives with the most knowledge and money, embrace it..

Enjoy it now while the women at bars still look and acknowledge you, because it all ends later in life..

I can not drink like I use to. When I was younger, just using LSU football games for example, on home game weekends, I would go out tailgating early, drink steadily, go to the game, and slowly sip on my alcohol beverage just because once I stop drinking I get really tired, when the game was over, we would stay around and let traffic clear before leaving.. It was no big deal, I could wake up Sunday morning and not miss a beat.

But when I was close to 30, when I had a game day like I explained, I would need all of Sunday to recover and would still feel it Tuesday, Wednesday.

For some reason I took it hard when I turned 30, but as for as sleeping.. I use to be the most effective when I worked on shite late at night.. I could get more done between 10PM - 2AM than any other time, but there is no way I could go to sleep at 2AM multiple times during the week. So yeah I guess that is another.

37 and I'm barely the same person I was in my 20's. I don't drink at all. I'm far better off financially (and smarter with money). I'm a ton stronger in the gym than I used to be. I used to not like being around kids other than my own and now I actually like them
My marriage is happier than ever- probably the money. Sex life is better. I don't have nearly the short fuse I used to with people.

Damn I really do love my 30's

What the frick have you been doing all this time? I shat my pants 2x a week on average in my 20's. You're not taking enough risk in life bro.

The hangover stuff is definitely true. Mainly just feeling tired the next day. Other than that, life is pretty good. In the best shape since high school, not quite as strong but I hate lifting heavy anyway. Going out is a little different. I'd rather a chill bar as opposed to the loud shitty house music and club scene. Weekends are geared toward playing with my little girl and cooking and day drinking by the pool. Vacation should be interesting this summer with a 8 month old in tow.

Estimator in North La. sold the house, quit the job and moved to Alaska with wife and two kids. Best thing I've ever done.

People change. You gotta roll with it

Just wait until 40's. I always tell people "life after 40 is nothing like life before 40".
