From National Hurricane Center

quote:

An area of low pressure is expected to develop this weekend to the northeast of the Bahamas. Environmental
conditions appear conducive for this system to acquire some subtropical characteristics as it moves northeastward through Sunday. LINK

From Colorado State:

quote:

The National #Hurricane Center gives 50% chance of subtropical cyclone development in next 5 days northeast of the Bahamas. 15 Atlantic hurricane seasons in the satellite era (since 1966) have had 1st named storm formation prior to June 1st.

It's not the craziest thing ever to have a pre-June 1 storm, but you know it would happen this year.

I am really looking forward to the juxtaposition of staying home to save lives vs. evacuate to save lives.

I really feel bad for the MS coast folks. Beaches closed last year, Bonnet Carre open again, Wu Flu lockdown. Having a hurricane hit them on the nose would be pretty devastating.

Karen told me they predicted this season to be more active than usual so we should do a preemptive evacuation and come back in November

Of course not. Nothing kills Chinese Flu. We will have to remain shut down forever*.

*Unless, by some miracle, Joe Biden wins the presidency. Then Chinese Flu will have been miraculously eradicated henceforth and forevermore.

It's going to be like the trans-athlete rights vs. feminist mindset trainwreck. Maybe someone will invent a bubble suit for people to ride out the hurricane in and save Paw Paw at the same time.

Gulf has been running 10 degrees warmer for the time of year, which has been fueling the strong squall lines with the fronts. I expect things to get busy early, this year.

Government morons will be really confused trying to order evacuation and lockdown orders at the same time.

What if the airforce drops Lysol bombs into the hurricanes so when they hit it like a swirly sanitation for whatever lucky city draws the card!

Forward thinking my friends.

If you mean day-to-day from last year, I am HIGHLY skeptical of your claim.

As in there’s no fricking way that this is true.
